Programs at Channel Christian School
Creche (0-1 year)
A nurturing, God-centered environment where infants develop sensory skills, emerging mobility, and first experiences of Christian love through attentive caregiving, Bible stories, nursery rhymes, and age-appropriate books. Daily activities include music, sensory play, and early social interactions
Pre-nursery (1-2 years)
An engaging space where toddlers explore God's creation through sensory play, develop language through Bible stories and classic children's tales, and build foundational numeracy skills with counting songs and shape activities. Children experience art, music, and guided outdoor exploration while developing early social skills
Nursery (3-4 years)
A balanced program integrating Biblical teachings with a diverse curriculum including literacy, numeracy, science, and creative expression. Children develop pre-reading skills, number recognition, and basic mathematical concepts while exploring the natural world through hands-on activities that foster curiosity and Christian character formation
Primary Program (5-8 years)
A Christ-centered curriculum covering core academic subjects (mathematics, language arts, science) while nurturing faith formation. Children develop strong foundations in literacy and numeracy, engage with quality literature across various genres, and participate in project-based learning that encourages critical thinking within a Christian worldview.
Our Founder
With 27 years in education and a mother of triplets, Mrs. Abidemi Olumide founded Channel Christian School from a personal vision. After serving as Vice Principal at a top-ranked American school, she established this unique learning environment inspired by her own children's needs—thoughtfully integrating professional expertise, global best practices, and faith foundations to nurture each child's potential. A Cairn University graduate with a Master's in Education, Mrs. Olumide brings both academic excellence and maternal understanding to our community. Her leadership ensures Channel remains a place where young minds are challenged, hearts nurtured, and children discover their purpose in God's world.
